Creating brand identities is always an interesting challenge. As the first point of contact with the world, a logo needs to connect with people.
My process is heavy on the wordplay. Brainstorming involves looking for connections through word association until I’m all tapped out, and after a whole lot of mind-mapping and list-making, I start sketching. Caffeine definitely plays a leading role in this production.
I’ve designed logos for entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and various programs, but my approach to logo design is always the same: longevity, legibility, and individuality.
